He's a Boy!

David and I were very excited to be able to find out last week that we are having a boy!

We praise God that the baby looks healthy and is developing well.

Moving in...

We were very thankful for Daniel Prudencio, his roommate and David's law school friend who helped us move ALL of our stuff in when we arrived in Houston!

For my Californian friends and family - 

To register your car in Texas, you have to go to the DMV (sounds okay so far...).

The DMV is at the Tax Assessor's Office.  Where is that? you ask.

Well, the one I went to was at the Harris County Courthouse.  

Very exciting.  Especially after the nice people I had asked for help ended up being there to file papers with the criminal clerk.  Yikes!

The New Addition :)

We are so excited to be expecting our first child!  He or she is due January 19th, 2012.
