Road Trip - back to Davis!

My mom was kind enough to drive the car back back to California with me so that David could fly and start studying for the Bar.

Niagara Falls - the US side

Mom near Horseshoe falls.

We got a picture of every welcome sign for the states we went through.  Apparently I only have pictures from one camera, though.

Mount Rushmore!  Quite the sight.

We were happy to see this - so close to home!  And even happier to see the California sign :)

David's HLS Graduation

David and I were so happy to have his parents and brother and my mom come out to Cambridge for his Law School Graduation.  They were also a huge blessing to us as we packed and moved!

It all started with "Class Day" on Wednesday.

We were kind of under-dressed - whoops!

Speaker - Alec Baldwin.  Why?  No idea.

All Harvard Graduation, Friday morning.  I think the Law School is standing up to be recognized.

There were about a million people in an area maybe half of the size of the UCD quad.

See how it says "Doctor of Law" on the screen?  That was my best view :)

Drew Faust, president of the university, conferring the degrees on the law students.

Ruth Bader Ginsberg, soon to receive her honorary degree.

Now at the separate Law School ceremony.  Ruth Bader Ginsberg made a surprise appearance.

Eating lunch with the fam before the graduates had their names read.

David getting his diploma and shaking hands with Dean Minow.

Shaking hands with Professor Rakoff, his 1L section leader.

So proud of my husband!

J-ha came to visit! (I'm a little behind...)

David and I were so excited to have a very good friend come visit us before we left Boston.  We had a great weekend with Trevor!

At Uno's for dinner.

All three of us had our first experience with Candlepin Bowling.  The pins are really skinny and the ball is like a shot put.

As you see here.

It was hard to control - we had lots of gutter balls :)

J-ha in front of TD Garden - the site of the second Boston Massacre :)

On the Super Duck Tour!

We got free duck whistles :)

On the USS Constitution

With Rachel!  Waiting for the T at Charles MGH.

In front of my old work (not Citibank, Dyax).
